If you’re into summer blockbuster movies, then you’re probably already in line for Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaur (aka Ice Age 3). Mannie, Diego, Scrat and all the gang are back for another crazy, feature-length, animated adventure — and you don’t want to miss it this coming July 1st weekend. However, what’s an Ice-Head to do while waiting almost 3 months for the film to hit theaters? Here are a few ways to keep your hype levels high, so your anticipation doesn’t cool.

1. Log onto the Ice Age 3 website! You can download desktop backgrounds, AIM icons, and register your personal information to stay in the loop on all things Scrat. You can also view the trailer, or get a special Ice Age widget, which enables you to view the trailer within a widget.

2. Embed Ice Age into your Facebook profile and become a fan. Share the magic and fun of Scrat with all your friends. They’ll be thanking you later.

3. Throw an Ice Age 3 party once a week until the movie opens on July 1st. Be sure to have plenty of cold drinks (brr…), DVD copies of Ice Age 1 & 2, and a computer open to the Ice Age website, so you and your friends can play “Bubble Trouble.” You play as Scrat or Lady Scrat, as they try to collect acorns in a bubble. Ain’t no party like an Ice Age party!

4. Treat yourself to some Ice Age merch. There’s plenty of stuff to collect, like various types of posters. Hey, Scrat’s working his tail off to get that acorn, so in the spirit of Scrat, go hoard yourself some goodies.

5. Fuck a real squirrel.
